What is Metryon?

Metryon is a personal workspace for knowledge and software work. It gives incoming requests, longer-term goals, everyday tasks, and useful notes a shared home.

The aim is simple: spend less time reconstructing context and more time moving the work forward.

Metryon can bring in work from services such as GitHub and Jira. You decide what deserves attention, connect it to a goal when that helps, and carry it through to completion. Work can stay manual or use AI and agent tools where they are useful.

A familiar path

Most work follows a short path:

text
Inbox → Goal → Task → Done

The path is a guide, not a rule. A small task may not need a goal. A note may never become a task. Metryon keeps these pieces connected without asking every kind of work to look the same.

Built for the desktop

Metryon is a macOS application with a keyboard-first interface. Your work records live locally, while integrations connect to the services you already use. Agent runs and terminal sessions can sit beside the work they belong to instead of becoming another place to check.

Metryon is under active development. These pages begin with the ideas that shape the product; practical setup guides will follow as releases become available.
